It is widely used in instrument air drying and pressure swing adsorption air separation unit in petrochemical, chemical, textile, metallurgy and other industries. The adsorption dew point can reach more than - 41 degrees. It can also be used for liquid and gas phase deep drying in steel, petroleum cracked gas, ethylene and propylene.
Activated alumina desiccant is porous alumina with adsorption performance and catalytic activity, high dispersion and large specific surface area. It is suitable for drying a variety of gases and liquids. It is used as adsorbent, desiccant, catalyst and its carrier in many reaction processes such as petroleum, chemical fertilizer and chemical industry. Precautions for activated alumina desiccant:
1. Do not open the package before use to avoid moisture absorption and affect the use effect.
2. Activated alumina desiccant is suitable for deep drying, and the service condition is that the pressure is greater than 5kg / cm2.
3. After the activated alumina desiccant is used for a certain period of time, the adsorption performance will gradually decline. The adsorbed water should be removed through regeneration, so as to repeatedly use the gas in regeneration operation (dry gas with lower or the same pressure than that in drying operation; dry gas with higher or the same temperature than that in drying operation; wet gas after heating; wet gas after decompression).
