XR Alumina has a commitment to alumina technology. XR101 is an activated alumina produced by carefuly controlled calcination of alumina trihydrate and pseudo boehmite. The crystalline phase of XR101 activated alumina increases cyclic stability. 

A superior desiccant XR101 has two critical properties: adsorptive capacity and hardness. Its high adsorptive capacity gives it a longer service life in existing driers, even those with olefin contaminants, reducing overall drying costs. 

The activated alumina with itshigh surface area, ＞350m2/g and internal porosity ＞0.5cc/g,.

These engineered physical properties,along with its inhrent polar nature, make XR101 a unique scavenger for cartain undersirable impurities in various gas or liquid process streams.
