In terms of raw materials, it has the following advantages: increasing the density of green body and reducing the water content and porosity. The following is a detailed introduction to the six physical properties of activated alumina balls.

It can be used as catalyst and catalyst carrier in chemical fertilizer industry and petrochemical industry. It can be used as desiccant for gas and liquid, defluorination agent for drinking water, adsorbent for gas purification, etc.

Physical properties of activated alumina spheres:

1.Angle of repose. The angle of repose of alumina refers to the inclination of natural resources accumulated on the smooth structural plane. Alumina with large repose angle is relatively simple and easy to dissolve in the electrolyte. It can well cover the shell of the electrolyte system in the process of electrochemical machining and production, with small flying loss.

2. A-Al2O3 content. In alumina α- The content of Al2O3 reflects the calcination degree of alumina. The higher the calcination degree, the higher the content of a-Al2O3. along with α- With the increase of Al2O3 content, the hygroscopicity of alumina becomes worse. Therefore, alumina for electrolysis should contain a certain amount of α- Al2O3. However, the solubility of a-Al2O3 in electrolyte is worse than that of y-al2o3.

3. Bulk density. The bulk density of activated alumina ball refers to the weight per unit volume of material in the natural environment. Generally speaking, alumina with low bulk density is conducive to the dissolution of electrolyte.

4. Particle size. The particle size of activated alumina ball refers to its fineness. The particle size of alumina should be appropriate.

5. Specific surface area. The specific surface area of activated alumina ball refers to the total surface area of the sum of the outer surface area and inner pore surface area of the material per unit weight. High specific surface area and activated alumina ball have good solubility and activity in electrolyte and are easy to absorb moisture.

6. Wear coefficient. The so-called wear coefficient is the percentage of particle content in the sample after the activated alumina ball is ground under certain conditions in the fluidized bed.
