Description
Activated alumina desiccant is a spherical activated alumina made by special process. Its own properties are non-toxic, odorless, non-powdering, insoluble in water, white in appearance, and strong in the ability to absorb water.
Under certain operating conditions and regeneration conditions, its drying depth is up to a dew point temperature of -70°C, which is a kind of high-performance desiccant for deep drying of trace amounts of water. Activated alumina desiccants are mainly used to dry liquids and gases. Although all molecules can be absorbed to some extent, molecules with strong polarity are preferentially absorbed. The pressure, concentration, molecular weight, temperature, and the active site of the molecule all affect the adsorption effect. The common dimensions for activated alumina desiccants are ball 1/16", 1/8", 3/16", 1/4". Widely used in petrochemical gas and liquid drying, used in the textile industry, oxygen industry and automation instrument drying, air separation pressure swing adsorption. Due to the high net heat of the single-molecule adsorption layer, it is very suitable for non-thermal regeneration devices.
