In the petrochemical production process, chlorine in the raw gas can cause poisoning of various catalysts and adsorbents, causing the adsorbent and catalytic performance to fail. The presence of chlorine can also severely corrode equipment and devices, affecting the normal operation of production. Therefore, chlorine must be removed. Solid dechlorinators are usually used to remove chlorides from the raw gas. The activated alumina dechlorinator produced by Zibo Xiangrun has the characteristics of a wide operating temperature range, uniform high and low temperature activity, good water resistance, and the active components and chlorine after the reaction are not easy to migrate. It can be used for dehydrochlorination of synthesis gas and protection of catalysts and adsorbents. It can also be widely used for dechlorination of raw gases such as naphtha, H2, N2, NH3, CO, and CO2. Liquid naphtha reforming oil usually contains a large amount of HCl, which will affect the operation of subsequent equipment. The dechlorinator can continue to work and adsorb HCl in any temperature environment, and can adsorb HCL continuously.
