Using the principle of pressure swing adsorption, the activated alumina desiccant adsorbs moisture under pressure and desorbs water under reduced pressure. The non-heat regenerative dryer adopts double-tank type. When the drying tank A is working, the drying tank B is regenerated, and the drying tanks A and B are alternately operated and regenerated. The working principle of the non-thermal regeneration activated alumina drying is shown in Fig. 1 (1). , (2), (3), and (4).
The working program is time control, switching is 5min, and 10min is a working cycle. The working procedures are divided into five processes: work, regeneration, charging, pressure equalization, and regeneration. When the drying tank is working, the pressure rises and the partial pressure of water vapor in the air increases accordingly. When passing through the bed of desiccant (activated alumina), it is adsorbed by the desiccant, so that the partial pressure of water vapor of the activated alumina desiccant gradually increases. Raise and reach equilibrium, which is the adsorption work process to make the compressed air dry. When the drying tank is regenerated, when the air pressure in the tank suddenly decreases, the partial pressure of water vapor also decreases, and the water vapor adsorbed on the activated alumina desiccant is also transferred to the air. The regeneration process is through the restrictor orifice plate to control a small portion. The dry gas stream (15% of the treatment volume) is expanded to atmospheric pressure, and the desiccant is backflushed from top to bottom. The water vapor is discharged from the muffler to the outside of the machine with the backflush gas stream to desorb the activated alumina desiccant. After 4rain regeneration, the venting valve is closed, and the regeneration tower is pressurized by the restrictor orifice plate, so that the pressure inside the tank rises, balances with the working tank, the regeneration ends, and the work is switched to the working adsorption.
