The cystal form of alumina beads we could produce:


1. γ-Al2O3 bead

 γ-Al2O3 bead is obtained by calcination of boehmite at low temperature (500-750 °C). γ alumina bead is a cubic crystal system. It is a porous, high-dispersion solid material with a large specific surface area and high activity. Good adsorption performance. It is widely used in various industries of adsorbents and dehydrating agents, automotive exhaust gas purifiers; preparation of aerospace, weapons, electronics, special ceramics and other cutting-edge materials, used in the petrochemical and chemical industries as a catalyst (refined petroleum) Or a carrier (to hydrogenate petroleum).

2. δ-Al2O3 beads

    δ-Al2O3 bead is obtained by calcination of boehmite at 800~1 050°C. δ alumina bead is a tetragonal system with strong adsorption capacity and catalytic activity. It can be used as adsorbent, desiccant, catalyst and carrier.

3. η-Al2O3 beads

    η-Al2O3 bead is obtained by calcining aluminum hydroxide of Bayer body at 400-750 °C at a certain heating rate. η alumina bead is a cubic crystal system with relatively large pore volume and specific surface area. It is mainly used as a carrier for the catalyst.

4. θ-Al2O3 beads

     θ-Al2O3 bead is obtained by calcining aluminum hydroxide of Bayer body at 900~1 100 °C at a certain heating rate. θ alumina bead is a monoclinic system with properties between γ-Al2O3 and α-Al2O3. Often coexisting with γ-Al 2 O 3 and α-Al 2 O 3 .


5 κ-Al2O3 beads

     κ-Al2O3 bead is obtained by calcination of gibbsite at 800~1 150 °C at a certain heating rate. κ-Al2O3 bead is a hexagonal system. The main applications are refractory binders, scavengers, adsorbents, and the like.

6 ρ-Al2O3 

     ρ-Al2O3 is obtained by dehydration of gibbsite less than 75 μm under a vacuum of less than 2.66 Pa. ρ-Al2O3 has a poor crystallization condition and is almost in an amorphous state. ρ-Al2O3 is widely used in high-grade refractory materials such as corundum, high-aluminum, and aluminum-magnesium, such as iron making, steel making, non-ferrous metal smelting, and hot blast furnace. In addition, it is also widely used in ceramic coatings, catalyst carriers, adsorbents and the like.


7. χ-Al2O3 beads

     χ-Al2O3 bead is obtained by calcination of gibbsite less than 75μm under the action of protective gas at 500~750°C. χ-Al2O3 is mainly used for drying and dehydration of air, natural gas and petroleum cracking gas. Special catalyst for the production of hydrogen peroxide, dechlorination of viscous resins, catalyst support, air separation and oxygen production.
